Men in Black 3

Men in Black III, stylized MIB3 and previously entitled Men in Black III-D, is an upcoming 3D science fiction comedy film starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. It will be released as the sequel to Men in Black II on May 25, 2012, ten years after its predecessor, and will also star Josh Brolin and Jemaine Clement, with Barry Sonnenfeld returning as director, and Steven Spielberg returning as executive producer. The film is the third entry in the popular Men in Black film series which is based on the Malibu comic book series The Men in Black by Lowell Cunningham. Principal photography began in New York City on November 16, 2010.

Plot

Only a few details about the film's plot have been confirmed though the film will have a time travel plot with Agent J having to go back in time to 1969 to visit a young Agent K. The film's villain, Boris, travels back in time to try to kill Agent K in order to set off a chain of events which will result in the end of the world.

Producer Walter F. Parkes has said that they must begin filming before 2010 ends to benefit from the tax incentives, and picking up in February allows them to film some needed scenes in the warmer spring climate.The first set photos for the film turned up online on November 17, 2010 showing Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Emma Thompson, and Nicole Scherzinger on the set of the film. Shooting will resume in March until June 2011. Filming was done in April 2011 in the Morris Park section of The Bronx. Production crews have started to set up props on the Coney Island Boardwalk in Brooklyn, NY. Filming wrapped on July 1, 2011.
